O’ Death Go “Home” Yet Again

You know, someone once told your SAK correspondent that you can’t go home again, but “A sacred resting place where the pecking hens won’t harm the eyes” is not actually that hard to find, at least speaking from personal experience. Either way, “Home,” a preview track from O’ Death’s forthcoming Broken Hymns, Limbs, and Skin (no US release date is available as of yet) is up at your avatar’s home, a ‘lil place called MySpace.

O’ Death Spit Fire At Their Rcrd Lbl

The folks over at RCRD LBL have delved deep into Brooklyn’s backwoods to unearth an exclusive, free track, “Spitfire,” from the O’ Death boys. As if that weren’t exciting enough, they have hometown headlining gig on Friday at the Music Hall of Williamsburg.

Your SAK correspondent is pleased to see them booked at ever-bigger venues. It seems like just yesterday he was seeing them for free at Pete’s Candy Store. He also wonders if they have comparable popularity anywhere else, in the US or abroad. I guess the internet isn’t the geographically equalizing force we once thought (at least with respect to hootin’, hollerin’, and a-pluckin’).
