Your SAK correspondent reposts/reports the following Japanther announcement (via MySpace): Japanther “uploaded the entire new album for you to stream on our page!”

Yep, status messages are the new bulletins.

WBAR, the college radio outlet for Barnard and Columbia, is having a fifteenth anniversary celebration with a fifteen-band pile-up, including Japanther, Videohippos, and most assuredly more enjoyably-skewed weirdo-rock on Friday, August 25th. Bands start at Noon.

Your SAK correspondent could go on and on and on with details, intricate descriptions of each performer, speculation as to who the “special guest” will be, but he prefers to simply direct you here for more info (scroll down the page, unless you feel like applying for spot on college radio).
