British Twee-ker Adem has an album of covers, Takes, coming out in the US first week of June (Brits have already been Taken–har har–with his latest release). The full tracklisting, a seemingly deliberately diverse group of tunes, runs the gamut from Smashing Pumkins to Aphex Twin. You can watch him “Unravel” (this really has to stop) over at the Domino site.

He also has a single US date scheduled at Brooklyn’s Union Hall on June 10th. No need to bring your earplugs.
